Popular American Hiphop star Drake been rumored to coming to South African soil possibly this year 2019, according the news posted on social earlier within the year in 2018 by a South African tweleb posted a picture of her aunt posing with Drake, her aunt works for an embassy abroad and she claims that Drake was there to apply for a South African visa.
In September last year Metro FM DJ Tbo Touch announced that he is planning on bringing Drake and Floyd Mayweather to the country this year, could this be it?
Lets hope so if he comes good, if he doesn’t there no cause for alarm.

Drake an America born musician born in 1986 in Toronto as Aubrey Drake Graham his real name. His father is an African-American musician and his mother is a Jewish Canadian who worked as an educator and florist. Drake’s parents divorced when he was five years old. He was raised in modest circumstances by his mother in Toronto and raised according to the Jewish faith.
Because of his beliefs and his skin colour, he was often a victim of bullying and marginalization during his schooldays. Since he started acting early, Drake dropped out of high school.
He first gained attention as an actor in 2001 in the series “Degrassi: The Next Generation”, in which he played Jimmy Brooks.
In 2006, Drake began publishing his first mixtapes and was starting to achieve acceptance as a rapper. Despite his initial success with his characteristic mix of hip-hop and R&B and the help of artists like Kanye West, Jay Z and Lil Wayne, he could not get a record deal.
In 2009, Drake’s single “Best I Ever Had” became a hit in the US and eventually helped Drake to sign with Universal Records.
For his debut album “Thank Me Later”, which was released in 2010, he collaborated with Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Jay Z, Alicia Keys and other well-known artists. The album reached number one in the US charts and received platinum in the US and Canada. Besides Eminem’s album “Recovery”, Drake’s debut was the most anticipated album of 2010.
