The Super Eagles are set for action again after their not too impressive outing at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
The Eagles are playing away to the Pirates of Seychelles in one of the Matchday 2 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures happening across the continent.
Having been beaten by South Africa in Uyo on Matchday 1 in June 2017, three points against the Pirates on Saturday will be good for the Eagles to restore their 2019 AFCON qualifying campaign back on track.
Though there have been some high-profile withdrawals and injury setbacks, there are still no tenable excuses for the Super Eagles not to beat their host at the 10,000 –capacity Stade Linite in Victoria on Saturday.
Available for selection to safeguard the goal post are Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi.
Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, Bryan Idowu, Chidozie Awaziem, Semi Ajayi and Jamilu Collins will be battling it out for positions in the backline.
On their part, Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo, John Ogu, Kelechi Nwakali and Joel Obi are available in the middle, while Ahmed Musa, Kelechi Iheanacho, Simeon Nwankwo, Henry Onyekuru, Odion Ighalo and Samuel Kalu will contest for slots in the frontline.
