News of sudden death of  O’Riordan the lead singer of the Cranbians at the age 46 have taken a new wave virality as the nature of her death beyond worth,Her publicist confirmed the tragic news saying: “Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

 The Irish president was among those paying tribute

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police in Westminster are dealing with a sudden death.

“Officers were called at 9.05am on Monday to a Hotel in Park Lane. A woman in her mid 40s was pronounced dead at the scene.

“At this early stage the death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries continue.”

Dolores has been the lead singer for The Cranberries since the 1990s and led them to global success with hits such as “Linger” and “Zombie”.

The band shot to international fame with their 1993 debut album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We”  and went on to sell over 40 million records worldwide.

Follow-up album “No Need to Argue” went to number one in Australia, France and Germany, and number 6 in the United States.

As well as playing with the band, Dolores also toured with D.A.R.K and appeared as a judge on RTE’s The Voice of Ireland in 2o13/2014.
