Hausas, Igbos, Tivs And Other Tribes Hold Peace Meeting In Benue State (Photos)


Following heightened tension between the Hausa community and youths of other tribes in Wadata area of Makurdi, Benue state, a peace meeting has been held between the youth representatives of Tiv, Hausas, Idoma, Agatu, Igbos and other tribes trying to restore peace back to the area.

On Saturday, January 13, there was a bloody clash between the Hausa community and some youths in the Wadata area of Makurdi, Benue state after a Fulani man was reportedly hit and killed by a vehicle.

Some youth were reportedly injured in the ensuing clash.
