The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the date sheet for Class 10th and 12th Board examinations. For both the classes, the exams are beginning from March 05, 2018, and the candidates are getting very less time gap. The class 10th exams will end on April 04, 2018, whereas, class 12th students will be a free bird on April 12, 2018.
After the release of the cbse date sheet, the students are anxious. The students of class 12 are tensed because the examination for Physical Education will be held on April 9, 2018, and the exam for JEE Main 2018 in Offline Mode is due to be conducted on April 08, 2018. This gives no time to the candidates for rest and revision.
Well there is assumed to be a change of plan as CBSE will hold board exams for classes 10 and 12 for academic session 2017, in March 2018. Complete time table will be released in January. It will be widely publicized in newspapers and official website cbse.nic.in. Close to 3 million students in India will be writing board exams under Central Board of Secondary Education. There is a 60:40 ratio of boys and girls.
There were conflicting news reports initially about board exam dates. According to some reports, exams were being preponed to February (like Telangana board has already done), while according to others, exam was being scheduled in March only like other years. Putting an end to this confusion, CBSE has announced that class 10 and 12 board exams will be in March 2018. Students can plan their studies and preparation with this in mind.
