For some student who intend to participate in the coming 2018 waec examination many are really coming up with differed question as to know if Civic education is a compulsory subject in WAEC, well at a point lately it was compulsory depending on the particular course or discipline such student intends to pursue in university.
These days i don’t think it is so because in as much as you can choose a particular subject does not mean Civic will be compulsory if you a science student, but if you are into government class or subjects related to it then the nature of how compulsory it is will be more significant.
So what am saying is that for a science student Civic is not compulsory in WAEC but for an art class student that will be into government or social science related courses it is compulsory.
I think checking the official WAEC Compulsory Subjects for Science, Arts, and Commercial students. So many candidates make this mistake by choosing a wrong subject when they do WAEC Registration.
