Is Nigerian Billionaire, Kola Aluko now poor? What happened to him? Kola Aluko, the former billionaire associate of ex Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, is now heavily tattooed and living in Mexico, TheCapital is reporting.
Aluko has been running from the long arms of the law over allegations of money laundering and was recently declared as person of interest in a civil complaint filed at a District Court in Houston Texas, against Madueke.
According to TheCapital, Kola, whose assets, worth about $144 million, have been seized after a July 14, 2017, US District Court Southern District of Texas, Houston Division order, no longer commands the awe and attention of the past years.
Pictures of him, exclusively obtained by TheCapital, show a gaunt and pale Kola, who was hitherto chubby and bubbly. The man, who once owned a 200-foot yacht – nicknamed Galactica Star, valued at over $80m, now lives a low life in Mexico.
