In Pictures: Van Drives Into Crowd Of People In Germany, Many Killed

THE first pictures have emerged from Munster in Germany after a van was driven into group of 30 people. Several people have died in the attack.


There are reports of at least three fatalities after the incident in the rural town the about 300 miles west of the capital Berlin.German police say several people have been killed “probably including the suspect”.

The fire brigade, rescue and patrol cars as well as police vans are all at the scene. Much of the town is cordoned off and locals have been asked to avoid the area.

Erich Rettinghaus, chairman of German Police union said: “First of all we are mourning for the victims and injured people.
Our condolences to all the injured people and the family of the dead and injured and we also wish a speedy recovery.
“We now have to investigate and arrest those responsible to avoid further attacks”
